CELEBRATE at CLARKSTON BOWLING and TENNIS CLUB
Clarkston Bowling & Tennis Club is a very popular location for function hire. We have hosted dance teams, football clubs, school staff nights, and psychic nights and of course more personal and special events such as weddings, birthdays, religious celebrations, anniversaries and many more. Unfortunately, we do not host 18th BP events.
Our main hall and bar can host up to 130 guests. The tennis viewing lounge is generally not available for booking during our main tennis season which runs April to September. It may on occassion, be made available, subject to agreement by the tennis section, so please do enquire about this. You have access to our fully functioning kitchen with double oven, dishwasher, urn, and microwave and is included in your booking.
You can create and decorate your space as you wish and can have early access to set up your event prior to the start time. You can bring in your own, or outside catering, and arrange your own DJ, band or music requirements. Please be advised that we currently do not have a plug in and play sound system.
Regrettably, we cannot offer an indoor or outdoor space for bouncy castles or similar. And we do not allow the use of confetti on the premises.
Do I need to be a Club Member to book an event?
It is a requirement of our License that we can only offer the let of the hall to our club members. We therefore ask that any person looking to book the hall, take out a social membership which is valid for 12 months and provides you and your guests with access to the bar and future event booking. A current member of our club can book on your behalf. See below for details.

How do I enquire and can I visit to view?
Our functions are currently managed by Craig Beaton. We appreciate it can be easier to answer your questions and discuss your event requirements in more detail by phone call. Please feel free to contact Craig on 0781 282 9401. If he is unable to respond please leave a voicemail or text message and contact will be made as soon as possible, thereafter. Our booking enquiry system is online. When you complete the QR coded booking enquiry form, our booking database automatically updates with all of the information we require to confirm your event. Craig will then be in touch to confirm the details. What are the event costs and how do I pay?
*If you know a current member of the club, they can book on your behalf, and this fee can be waived. However, please note they must be willing to assume responsibilty and liabilty for the event, so please ensure they agree to these terms.
Payment can be made online and details are provided during the enquiry process.
